Abstract

This article is concerned with the development of an e cient numerical algorithm for the solution of a system of generalized nonlinear Emden-Fowler equation. The proposed algorithm is based on the Legendre wavelet operational matrix of integration technique. This method decreases the storage and computational complexity due to its calculation on the subinterval [ n1 2k1 ; n 2k1 ) of [0; 1]. The main highlight of this method is to converts the system of the di erential equation into an equivalent system of nonlinear algebraic equations, which greatly simpli es approximation. Some numerical example shows that the proposed scheme is very e cient and reliable.
