Abstract

In this paper, we obtain the particular exact solutions of the two-dimensional heat and mass transfer equation with power-law temperature-dependent thermal con- ductivity using the Adomian’s decomposition method. In comparison with existing tech- niques, the decomposition method is very effective in terms of accuracy and convergence. Also, it is an advantageous method for obtaining the solutions of non-linear differential equations without linearization and physically unrealistic assumptions. Numerical com- parisons are presented in both tables and figures.
